Accountant – Digital Asset Accounting / Financial Reporting

Location: Miami, FL 33131

A publicly traded digital asset treasury company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange is seeking an Accountant to support financial reporting and digital asset accounting operations.

The company holds one of the largest corporate Bitcoin treasuries globally, and is expanding its presence in the United States.

This role will join the growing Miami office and work closely with the CFO and global teams located in Japan, Canada, and the United States.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain accounting records, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements
• Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks and related accounting systems
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors

Digital Asset Accounting

• Track and record Bitcoin transactions and balances
• Reconcile custodial wallets and exchange accounts
• Monitor digital asset transfers, purchases, and custody movements
• Maintain wallet transaction records
• Support implementation of Cryptio digital asset accounting software

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Maintain internal documentation supporting transactions
• Assist with internal control processes and audit preparation
• Support compliance initiatives and regulatory documentation
• Work with compliance platforms including MyComplianceOffice

Operational Support

• Work directly with the CFO on treasury and operational initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers
• Assist with improving financial and operational processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Strong reconciliation, financial reporting, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company environment

Preferred Qualifications; Not Required

• Experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, banking, or payments industries
• Familiarity with digital asset accounting or blockchain transactions
• Experience with Cryptio or similar crypto accounting platforms
• Japanese language proficiency
